Slavery is as old as dirt not only was it about Africans but Muslims as well.Slavery has a social,economic,and political effect on our country and it is a big topic in our constitution.

 "All men are created equal." Sike! apparently all men except slaves are created equal.Slavery in the united states was big, it was like having the newest x-box or playstation almost every one had one.Harsh labor was forced upon slaves back in the day the term "working them to death" was literal.Emaciation was the result in some cases.If a slave tired to run away the master would cut their foot off to  keep them from attempting to run again

 What was the value for a slave in a plantation? Well a plantation owner's only use for the slave was one year and in a single year the slave had to plant and grow sugar or coffee. In a single year very few slaves could survive. Emaciation found its way on slaves and while the slaves worked till near death the slave owner sat back and made a decent profit off of the hard work of the slaves. During a slave trade the slave owner was responsible for providing the slaves with fatherly care and provide the right supplies for their journey back to the country of the slave owner,but we both know that the fatherly care was more like abusive drunk fatherly care towards the slaves.

 The united states ended slavery in 1865 and some countries in the Americas ended slavery as early as 1794 (Haiti). In the Muslim world slavery went on until the 20th century an ended slavery in one country as late as 1980. The holy law permitted slavery and in document 3 it states "Here it is to be noted that one brother ids the slave of another." It also states "we are commanded to keep the holy sabbath day but we do hardly know when it comes for our taskmasters are as hard with us as the Egyptians were with the children of Isreal." This tells me not only was slavery in the muslim world natural and permitted it was harsh like the american slavery tactics.

 Both American and Muslim slavery can be best summed up as harsh,cruel,and I guess helpful in a way. Just think without slavery our rights would still probably permit slavery and allow it to continue to go on, slavery help put a perspective on the real meaning of equal rights now all men are created equal and every man no matter skin color or whatever race can be accused of the same crime or rewarded for an act of brilliance and excellence.
