DeMarco Murry is in my opinion the best running back in dallas. He has single handedly provided some good quality runnig for the dallas offense. If you look at his stats his rushing yards in the last three games were pretty impressive 466 yards an one TD.DeMarco has an eye for getting first downs he has set single game rushing records like I said its pretty impressive for a rookie.GO COWBOYS!!!

Article about Chris Paul game winning lay-up
Top Performers
- Chris Paul
LA Clippers
- FGM-FGA 11-20
- Pts 31
- Rebs 6
- Assists 4
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Chris Paul scored 31 points, including the game-winning shot on a layup with 8.8 seconds left, lifting the Los Angeles Clippers to a 100-98 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night that kept them in position for home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
Paul got past Thunder defensive specialist Thabo Sefolosha and squeezed the ball onto the rim past the league's leading shot blocker, Serge Ibaka, to put L.A. ahead.
Kevin Durant missed a 3-pointer that could have won it, hitting the back rim on a shot over Clippers center DeAndre Jordan from the left wing.
Durant led Oklahoma City with 22 points and Russell Westbrook scored 20 on 3-for-14 shooting. The West-leading Thunder have lost four of their last six games.
Blake Griffin added 16 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists for Los Angeles.
The Clippers needed the win to hang on to fourth place in the Western Conference standings. Fifth-place Memphis came into the night a half-game behind L.A. and beat Phoenix.
Paul came up big in the fourth quarter, as he has all season. He scored 11 points in the final period as the Clippers pulled ahead after trailing most of the way. He hit a tiebreaking 3-pointer and a floater along the lane to give L.A. a five-point lead and then the 6-foot point guard restored that edge by tipping in his own miss a few trips later.
After Durant's 3-pointer tied it at 98 with 32 seconds left, Paul drained the shot clock before coming up with the decisive basket - the ball rattling around the rim before falling through.
The first two meetings of the season were nothing alike.
The Clippers won easily on their home court at the end of January, getting one of the season's most memorable dunks from Griffin over Oklahoma City's Kendrick Perkins and a flurry of 13 3-pointers.
The Thunder responded last month, with Perkins setting the tone by hitting Griffin in the face on a first-quarter foul. Griffin ended up with a career-low seven points and didn't have a single dunk in a blowout loss.
Griffin provided some highlight material in this one, most notably a right-handed slam over Ibaka midway through the third quarter, and he flirted with a triple-double before failing to register an assist in the fourth quarter.
But that's when Paul, playing on the court where he once starred with the relocated New Orleans Hornets, was at his best.
His right-handed runner tied it at 80 before he came out for a brief rest, and Randy Foye's 3-pointer from the right side with 8:35 remaining put L.A. ahead for the first time since it was 6-5 in the opening 4 minutes.
Eric Bledsoe's layup finished off a 15-4 run and bumped it to 87-84, and Oklahoma City could never regain control.
Los Angeles won for the ninth time in its last 11 games - all without top reserve Mo Williams, who is out with a sprained left big toe.
Oklahoma City fell two games behind idle Chicago for the best record in the NBA.
The Thunder started out 6-for-10 from 3-point range and built a 39-28 lead after Derek Fisher's make from the right side with 7:21 before halftime, but then missed 3s on three straight possessions as Los Angeles scored six points in a row to get back in it.
The Clippers got within two late in the first half before Oklahoma City reeled off eight straight points and finished the half with a 55-48 edge.
Notes: A portion of the profits from sales of the sneakers Durant debuted during the game will support the N7 Fund, which awards grants to Native American and Aboriginal grassroots sport and fitness programs for youth. Paul wore dark green sneakers as part of the NBA's Green Week. ... Country singer Toby Keith attended the game and sat next to former Oklahoma basketball player Kevin Bookout. ... The teams play again Monday night at Staples Center.
My Thoughts
Chris Paul does it again game winning shot wow what a game! Chris paul found himself racking up 31 points,6 rebounds,4 assists.Chris is normally the facilitater on the court but tonight his role was to score! score! score! He and Blake Griffin aka the alley-oop city ralleys together to beat what I think is the best team in the NBA right now the okclahoma city thunder. Kevin Durant and russell westbrook couldn't do it tonight they just didn't have the will to pull it out.
Article about lamar odom
DALLAS (AP) Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban had noticed Lamar Odom's uninspired play numerous times before, and kept hoping things would change.
It took one reply by Odom during a heated halftime exchange in his last game, when Cuban questioned the player's commitment to the team and Odom told him to quit playing games, to realize it was time for the two sides to part ways.''Just his response to it. Everybody goes through ups and downs. Every player does. We tried to put him in a position to succeed. ... It didn't work,'' Cuban said Tuesday night, his first public comments since the team confirmed a day earlier that Odom was done in Dallas.
Their halftime exchange came after Odom played an uninspired four minutes Saturday night at Memphis.
''I just asked him, does he want to go for it or not. Is he in or is he out? I think he thought we were playing poker. I just didn't get a commitment. And that was the end,'' Cuban said. ''This was a big game for us, and he wasn't connecting to that. And if you're not positive energy, you're negative energy.''
When asked if that was the first time he noticed Odom having such a demeanor, Cuban responded, ''No, but the first 17 times, I decided to try to help him and turn it into a positive.''
That never happened.
Odom's averages of 6.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 20.5 minutes in his underwhelming 50-game stint in Dallas were career lows. He was also often late for team activities such as practices and meetings.
The Mavericks didn't release him and instead said Odom would be listed inactive for their remaining nine games. That started with Tuesday night's game against Sacramento.
''He didn't want to play. He decided to go elsewhere or do something else. Now we regroup and go forward,'' Cuban said. ''We kept on hoping things would turn out right. It just got to the point where there weren't enough games in the season to try to find out.''
My Thoughts on Lamar Odom
Lamar odom is a disappointment to us mavericks fans.We got all happy an excited for someone who didnt want to be here in dallas in the first place. His attitude towards coming to dallas wasn't convincing in my opinion him an khloe should of just stayed in los angeles were lamar had some type of success, but naw they brought they old crazy looking tails to dallas were he made a fool out of himself. Mark Cuban should have kept his money an waited next summer for darron williams which I believe we will get.I think lamar was a los angeles spy sent by the owner of the lakers to find out what makes the mavericks the best in the west.

DBQ for african and muslim slavery
Slavery is as old as dirt not only was it about Africans but Muslims as well.Slavery has a social, economic, and political effect on our country and it is a big topic in our constitution.
"All men are created equal." Sike! apparently all men except slaves are created equal.Slavery in the united states was big, it was like having the newest x-box or playstation almost every one had one.Harsh labor was forced upon slaves back in the day the term "working them to death" was literal.Emaciation was the result in some cases. If a slave tired to run away the master would cut their foot off to keep them from attempting to run again
What was the value for a slave in a plantation? Well a plantation owner's only use for the slave was one year and in a single year the slave had to plant and grow sugar or coffee. In a single year very few slaves could survive. Emaciation found its way on slaves and while the slaves worked till near death the slave owner sat back and made a decent profit off of the hard work of the slaves. During a slave trade the slave owner was responsible for providing the slaves with fatherly care and provide the right supplies for their journey back to the country of the slave owner, but we both know that the fatherly care was more like abusive drunk fatherly care towards the slaves.
The united states ended slavery in 1865 and some countries in the Americas ended slavery as early as 1794 (Haiti). In the Muslim world slavery went on until the 20th century an ended slavery in one country as late as 1980. The holy law permitted slavery and in document 3 it states "Here it is to be noted that one brother ids the slave of another." It also states "we are commanded to keep the holy sabbath day but we do hardly know when it comes for our taskmasters are as hard with us as the Egyptians were with the children of Isreal." This tells me not only was slavery in the muslim world natural and permitted it was harsh like the american slavery tactics.
Both American and Muslim slavery can be best summed up as harsh, cruel, and I guess helpful in a way. Just think without slavery our rights would still probably permit slavery and allow it to continue to go on, slavery help put a perspective on the real meaning of equal rights now all men are created equal and every man no matter skin color or whatever race can be accused of the same crime or rewarded for an act of brilliance and excellence.

SMH!! Come on Coach P
Horror in Happy Valley: Paterno must go
By Roxanne Jones, Special to CNN
updated 12:20 PM EST, Tue November 8, 2011
Penn State coach Joe Paterno heard of sexual abuse allegations in 2002, according to a grand jury report.
(CNN) -- We are ... Penn State.
I cannot recount the thousands of times that I have proudly proclaimed that chant throughout the years. I belted it out as a Penn State cheerleader, later as a proud alum standing in Beaver Stadium among nearly 100,000 raucous fans, and more recently on Saturday afternoons sitting solo in my TV room watching my Nittany Lions roar in those classic no-name jerseys.
Those words still give me goosebumps nearly 20 years after I left State College, Pennsylvania, lovingly called Happy Valley. Looking down from my perch on other colleges over the past decade, I've watched major programs crumble as their dirty little secrets were revealed. And through all those college scandal headlines -- paying players, inflating SAT scores, falsifying classroom grades -- I have held Penn State up as a shining example of all that is good and right and pure about college sports.
We are the good guys.
But today, I'm putting my pompoms down. I'm done covering up Happy Valley's secrets. And it's time for others in the program, starting with Coach Paterno, to do the same thing. And then, Joe has got to go, immediately.
That is the only real alternative after the shocking allegations that Jerry Sandusky, 67 -- a former assistant coach who worked with the program for more than 30 years and who was viewed by many as Paterno's heir before he retired in 1999 -- has been charged with multiple felonies in the alleged sexual abuse of eight boys during a 15-year period. Prosecutors now expect that more boys will come forward with abuse claims.
(My thoughts about Coach P) COME ON MANNN!!!!! this is sick in my eyes. Coach paterno was the man in my eyes I respected him an even looked up to him and for me to see these allegations about him rapeing little boys pisses me off. I use to want to go to penn satae because coach paterno is a good coach but what he has done has shamed not only himself but penn state as a whole.I dont think that paterno could be my coach after these allegations i\cause I wouldn't respect him at all.

Even though both sparta and athens differ from each other they both have important things in common.
Sparta differs from athens in many ways espeacially in the views of women rights. You can find evidence of this in document five were xenophon, athenian soilder and writer from his book the constition of sparta,he speaks in third person about the way women were treated in athens and sparta.
Sparta also differs in battle strategy and their honor to their leader and country. In document one evidence is provided by demaratus (ex_king of sparta),recorded in herodotus written in the fifth century in third person. Demaratus talks about how the spartans accepts law and how its forbidden for the spartans to flee from battle.
In document four a corinthian diplomat speaks to the spartan assembly about their distrust in people who come into sparta. He points out to the spartans judgement puts them out of touch with foreign affairs or outside help. He speaks in third person so its not just speaking of himself.
Athens on the other hand differs from sparta in their government and government power in document 2 pericles speaks about the democracy of athens "our administration places power in the hands of the many and not the few".This is a key quote because it tells you that the government is putting trust into many which means not one person runs the whole show.
But in document three one describes that the athenian constitution shows favor to the rich more than the poor. The document is written in the perspective of a man observing what the athenian constitution is all about.Giving rights to the well off and not the poor class citizen.
Aristotle is a greek philosopher who ruled athens in the fifth century. He is important to athens because as explained in document 9 his unitment of all the people from rich to poor was one of his methods of great leadership in athens.
Both athens and sparta has similarities as well.Even though sparta had disagreements with trade and letting many foreigners into sparta they still traded similar items with athens as discussed in document 7.
Both sparta and athens had their own slaves or helots and citizens of the country as shown in document 6,but sparta didn't have any metics (resident aliens).
At the end I feel that with all of their differences sparta and athens was two of the great civilizations of their time period. One fought with fist and muscle the other fought with intellect and witt. Both had two of the most strategic battle strategies of all time.To this day our military is based on these two civilizations.

state of us econmy
The state of our U.S. econmy today is in need of a savior an quick.I belive that history is bound to repeat itself because every day in america
More than 3000 people a day are joining the ranks of the unemployed as the recession tightens its grip. The jobless total surged by a record 281,000 to almost 2.4 million in the three months to May.This statistic was recored in 2009 so now in 2011 the number should be worst.
In 2011 the job unemployment rate is at 9% or about 13.9 million people with out a job "thats alot of niqqas".Some blame this event all on our president Barrack Obama. This is wrong because in my opinion barrack obama hasn't done anything wrong he's been helping honestly.Come on now four years isn't goin to change what eight years of "ignorant supidity" has created.
Barrack Obama has been criticised for his lack of work an some say that its gone to cost him his job but I belive that president obama has made changes in his short time of four years. He oranized a brilliant plan to capure sadam husan which he did.If president bush was still in office our recession would be worst an our unemployment rate would be in the toilet by now.
To be honest I belive tyhe ones who critisize obama on not giving them a job are the ones who are lazy an fat an doesnt do any thing but sit on the couch eating twinkies an oreo cakesters. If you want a job so bad get off your butt an go get it.Our government is the one for blaame they were basically wasting money on foolish things.
